Prior to her life of crime, Dr. Pamela Isley was a perfume designer, having earned her PhD in botany at Gotham University. When a rare breed of rose was threatened by a Gotham City construction project, she used the flower's essence to poison the man responsible, only to be caught by Batman. From then on, Poison Ivy was at war, alternating strikes against thoughtless businessmen with imprisonment in Arkham Asylum. One Halloween, she very nearly defeated the Dark Knight when she placed a heat-activated poisonous gas in all the pumpkins in Gotham City, but Batman triumphed in the end.
This 12" resin statue of Poison Ivy is based on her appearance in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Almost 'Got Im." It is limited to 3,000 pieces, each with a certificate of authenticity.
